This DVD shows short stories of Daniel Boone and his life on the frontier with the problems with life, indians and English rule. They have entertainment, humor and give you an idea of the problems people of that time had. They are great for family enjoyment and show values that people had for each other rather than the dog eat dog that goes on today.

I started giving these DVD's as a Christmas present to my granddaughter 4 years ago when she was 6. We have seasons 1-4 and love every one of them. They hold her attention and teach history at the same time. She surprises the teachers at school when she answers questions about American history when the settlers explored our country. I even sit down with her and become engrossed with each episode. Great buy and TV when it was worth watching!

You cannot get any better than Daniel Boone. really great to know which one's were fess's favorites.any one that loves daniel boone should buy this.

My son got this for LAST Christmas, but still watches it frequently. We record a lot of episodes of the series on the TV, but this is good to go in the car.
