Daniel Boulud personally designed each piece in our "Facile" series of professional kitchen utensils. A classically trained French Chef, Daniel Boulud now resides in New York and is considered one of the top 5 chefs in the country. His famous resturant Daniel has won numerous awards and is one of the very best of it's kind. He has appeared in every major food magazine and is a regular guest on cooking and news shows. His energy and love for cooking are evedent evey time he does a cooking demonstration or appears on television. He has always used Sabatier products in his resturants and at home and recently he teamed up with them to create a unique line of cutlery and tools. Daniel chose Sabatier due to their reputation for making the finest kitchen tools in the French tradition. Not content to merely lend his name to the products, Daniel designed and then tested each piece. The result is a beautiful collection of tools that can be used for cooking and serving and is precisely suited to a specific task. Daniel says this about the design of the mesh strainer; "it is great for straining pan juice, broth, fruit juices, teas or more. Use it in combination with our ladle to press down pulp into the strainer. The side rest creates stability and works perfectly to rest on the side of a pan."
