Daniel DiTuro is a first generation Italian American committed to providing the facts about diet, exercise, and health. Raised on a Southern Italian Mediterranean style diet, he has first hand knowledge of the health benefits associated with eating a variety of foods without gaining weight or relying on prescription medications. Recurring shoulder pain showed Daniel the healing benefits of hatha yoga eliminating the need for medication or surgery.
Daniel has authored and photographed eight books including 700 Calorie Meals, the Italian Mediterranean Diet cookbook series, and Live Longer and Healthier Eating Foods You Love emphasizing the benefits of a diverse diet without sacrificing any one food or group of foods. He has co-authored and photographed Hatha Yoga Asanas and Hatha Yoga Illustrated to promote the benefits of hatha yoga that Western medicine is only now discovering.
In addition to writing and photography, Daniel has produced over 250 free instructional and educational yoga, cooking, how-to, travel, and money saving videos available on his DiTuro Productions YouTube channel.
