4.0 out of 5 stars Slippers run both narrow and short, but a 1/2 larger and wider
It was definitely a good purchase because it is hard to find a leather slipper with a wedge heel. But I caution you that these slippers run small. I usually buy a 9 1/2 Med in slippers but I purchased a 9 1/2 Wide, after trying them on, I should have purchased a 10 Wide. The sippers run both narrow and short.

2.0 out of 5 stars Daniel Green Women's Glamous Slipper Not What they used to be!, February 8, 2008
Daniel Green slippers, like everything else, are now made in China. They are no longer all leather inside and out. That is what made them so fabulous! I was so disappointed with the man made materials on the inside, and returned them.

The slippers tend to run about 1/2 size shorter than other shoes or slippers.

2.0 out of 5 stars poor fit/HORRIBLE return policy, September 6, 2008
I ordered a 6.5W and it was still too narrow. I have ordered this slipper direct from Daniel Green and the regular 6.5 was narrow. But the wide was no different than my old pair that wasn't a wide. I tried to simply exchange it but was not allowed. They took returns only. When I tried to reorder, the discounted price had increased by $15. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE FOLKS!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, April 15, 2008
My wife knows her shoe size. We ordered according to her shoe size and the slippers were too small. The item was fine otherwise. We had to return them. The vendor should know his product and warn people that the sizes run small so that we could avoid the error and pay for shipping that was unnecessary.

5.0 out of 5 stars DANIEL GREEN'S ARE STILL GREAT!!, November 21, 2008

I FINALLY FOUND DANIEL GREEN SLIPPERS VIA AMAZON (COULD NOT FIND ONE STORE IN PHILLY THAT SOLD D.G.'S). I WEAR A 9 MED IN A SHOE AND WAS ADVISED BY A FELLOW D.G. PURCHASER TO GET THE LARGER SIZE AS THE SLIPPERS USUALLY RUN SMALLER - SO I DID - ORDERED SIZE 10 MED AND THEY ARE PERFECT!
I AM THRILLED! HAVE BEEN WEARING THESE SLIPPERS FOR APPROXIMATELY 15 YEARS AND WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE. JUST REMEMBER TO UP YOUR SIZE AND YOU'LL BE SATISFIED. WOULD RECOMMEND DANIEL GREEN TO EVERYONE.

Thank You,

5.0 out of 5 stars ORDER LARGER!, January 5, 2011
This review is for the Daniel Green Glamour slippers. They feel great on and have already stretched in width, thank goodness, because the little toe on the left foot was kind of squished. So far, I love them.
BUYER BEWARE! I normally wear a size 7 medium, and I like roomy toes, so I never sacrifice comfort for beauty. I ordered these slippers in a whole size larger and in WW (extra wide) and they fit perfectly out of the box. They are very narrow. They look and feel great and I ordered two pairs of Daniel Green Denise slippers, and will give those a try. YOU NEED TO ORDER THESE GLAMOR SLIPPERS IN, AT LEAST, A WIDE, AND A WHOLE SIZE UP FOR A MEDIUM-WIDTH FOOT! They are very glamourous and I love the look. Super comfy and you don't even have to break them in: the leather stretches in width with ease because it's so soft (and this is after ordering a whole size up in extra wide for a medium width foot). My only complaint is that I hate all things made in China and I am trying to get away from buying things made there. It would be wise for Daniel Green to find a different country to have these manufactured in, as more and more people are shying away from China-made items.
