old but true,

This style was purchased by my 79 yr old aunt over 20 years ago. After hers finally starting showing signs of wear (only the sole), we tried to find her another pair. She doesn't shop online so we spent months looking at every store until finally a sales clerk told her to have me check online. (She needed to hear that from someone else.) Finally, I googled and found it in 2 seconds. I ordered it for her and it arrived a few days later. She's sold on the internet as well as these slippers which she says will last her the rest of her life. The last pair lasted over 20 yrs so I'm sure this pair will also. ;-) Excellent product, comfortable, looks good.

Comfort for Arthritic Joints,
This review is from: Daniel Green Women's Meg Slipper (Apparel)
Daniel Green Meg Slippers are so comfortable and soft I forget I am wearing them. Thankfully I can wear these slippers around the house all day, every day and my usually painful foot joints don't scream at me as they do in other shoes. Ahh-h-h-h! Thank you, Daniel Green for this wonderful product!

The slippers arrived as expected. Having previously owned a pair, they are exactly the same. EXCEPT, they are now made in China. My last pair lasted so long they were still made in America. I was disappointed that another one of our so called American companies has chosen to make their product offshore.

Very Comfortable,
This review is from: Daniel Green Women's Meg Slipper (Apparel)
My mother wore nothing but Daniel Greene slippers back in the 50's. I am retired and seem to wear mostly slippers all day in the house so I thought I would try Daniel Greene slippers. They arrived in less than a week and fit perfectly. The hard sole is great for running outside for short errands. I should have tried these slippers many, many years ago! Great slippers.

I bought these slippers in gold for my 90 year old mother-in-law. I think this is the 4th pair I've gotten her and she loves them. They are very well made. And sturdy enough to wear out to get the mail. As always with Amazon they ship really fast. I sent the first pair back with no-hassle free shipping because of a slight flaw and they shipped a new pair to me simultaneously and I still had them in time for her birthday. I love shopping Amazon and these are great slippers.

I bought these Daniel Green slippers for my mother who had a bunion; I got 1/2 size larger than she usually wears. She loved them. It made a huge difference in her comfort.

I recently purchased these for my 94 year-old mom who couldn't find them in her small Mississippi town. She wore her original pair over 30 years and felt they needed to be replaced. She loves her new slippers, perfect in every way. She feels the quality and fit are the same as the pair purchased three decades ago.

Good workmanship and quality. However width was a problem. I ordered wide (C) and these were too tight. to point of discomfort.

Hard sole,

I had to return these slippers, though they were good in all ways but one. The sole and heel were as hard as walking on concrete and with joint replacements, I need a softer, bouncier sole.
