From the Manufacturer

In 1881 Daniel Green, a young traveling shoe salesman for the Wallace Elliott Company in New York City, visited Dolgeville, New York. Daniel was shown a pair of felt shoes fashioned from waste pieces of piano felt which had been made in the Dolgeville Felt Mill. Daniel Green noticed that these felt shoes were worn by many factory workers to keep their feet warm and comfortable on the cold factory stone floors, and thus a legend in footwear was born.

Fits small February 1, 2010

I ordered a size M since I wear size 9 shoes but they too small for me. I do like them though -- they are fairly warm & comfortable. Just make sure to order a size up if you are a 9.

These little "greenies" I bought are "perfect" for my situation. I have several physical problems and wear a robe all day and need slippers that are soft and comfortable...yet...look "uppity" also! I have 3 pairs of them...so I always am able to wear one while another one is washing...plus...one is always kept new. They do run a little small...so...buy one size up. Thank you for offering size 11!! I love, love, love them!
