If you say you like alternative music, this may be a disc for you, because it dosen't get any more alternative than this. This record, in fact, could be an alternative to music! The drumming sounds like one of those battery-operated winde-up monkeys, and the guitar playing isn't much better. Also amusing is the singing. It almsot sounds as if their noses are pinched. The album is a laugh riot, song after song, but if it was intended to be that way, I don't know. Great songs include "Summertime," "McDonalds on the Brain," "First Day at Work" and "I Did Acid With Caroline." I've had the record about six years now and it still hasn't lost its edge. My favorite of the Daniel Johnston collection, although "Hi, How Are You?" and K. McCarty's album of DJ covers are also good.
