Daniel in the Lion's Den is the first book in a new series written and illustrated by the award-winning author of the "I Spy" series. The talented Jean Marzolla has created an engaging book. While there are many children's books about Daniel in the lion's den, Jean's book takes a new twist. She introduces the readers to the role of the angel who protects Daniel in the story.Cute, curious ants provide humorous conversation at the bottom of each page. The ants encourage young readers to turn the page for more adventures with Daniel. Jean's illustrations are vivid and capture this classic bible story very well. Daniel in the Lions' Den is one of three Bible stories written by Jean Marzollo, author of the I-Spy series. With colorful watercolors, Ms. Marzollo depicts the characters of the story of Daniel and the lions. Tiny ants along the bottom of the story have their own things to add to the story. I highly recommend these books for every young Christian child.
