Real Man's Watch
on March 2, 2015
This watch is exceeded my expectations in three ways. First, the classic clean design leaves nothing to be desired. From a design standpoint, I have everything I need/want, and nothing I don't. No there isn't a second hand, but I find that has a calming effect. I can ignore the fact that seconds are constantly fluttering away simply because this watch doesn't count them. If you need a second hand, more power to you, I'd get a different watch.
Second, is the quality of this piece. I am by no means a gentle guy - I'm especially hard on my watches. The face and stainless steel frame have held up very well so far. The leather is quality, and you can tell by the feel, and the way it starts to wear in. It is a little stiff at first, but give it some time, it'll loosen up and conform to your wrist. This is real leather you guys, have some patience.
Third is the price point. Calling this a value buy is an understatement. If you want durability and classic design, buy a Wellington.
I bought the stainless face so that I could switch out the black and brown leather wristbands to have unlimited versatility. I can wear this watch with just about anything. As for switching out the wristbands, the included tool makes it a breeze.
I know I sound like a salesman, I just really love this watch. Buy it.
The cloth straps won't be for everyone, so keep that in mind when shopping for extra wristbands.
