Story
Based on the "Daniel X" stories and graphic novel by James Patterson, Daniel X: The Ultimate Power is the story of Daniel, a young boy who possesses the incredible power of creation that he inherited from his alien parents. But Daniel also inherited something far more sinister: a frightening wanted list of aliens that are bent on destroying Earth. As Daniel in Daniel X: The Ultimate Power for Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS, which is developed by Griptonite Games, players must use his extraordinary strength, speed, agility, and power to create objects out of thin air to thwart the aliens from enslaving humanity.

Gameplay
An action game offering a unique mechanism by which to interact and complete a game, Daniel X: The Ultimate Power allows players to create objects — people, food, weapons, etc. — out of thin air and implement them to overcome obstacles, save friends and prevent the aliens on Daniel's infamous list from taking over the world. As Daniel traverses an alien world in mission based gameplay, that skill will be vital in solving puzzles and battling enemies so that he can return home to Earth. Although compatible with both DS and DSi Nintendo model handhelds, DSi specific functionality includes the ability to customize your characters with any image you choose via the DSi's built-in digital cameras.

Key Game Features

  • Create – Daniel not only has strength and speed of a super hero but he also has the unique ability to create objects from nothing. The player will use this skill in creative ways to overcome obstacles, save friends and prevent the aliens on The List from taking over the world.
  • Explore – Take Daniel through an alien world where he must use his intellect to solve puzzles in unique ways and battle otherworld enemies to get back to Earth.
  • Fight – While it’s usually brains before brawn, Daniel can throw down with the biggest baddy when he has to. As an expert in many forms of combat, he can kick, slam, bash and stomp his foes into submission, mixing it up with his alien telekinetic powers for a little extra fun.
  • Unique Nintendo DSi Functionality – Aliens are everywhere—Players will use their Nintendo DSi camera to take photos of family and friends. Let the Daniel X Alien Detector determine who can be trusted—and who is an alien.
  • Engrossing Storyline - Enjoy a storyline based on the "Daniel X" stories and graphic novel by James Patterson.

The company sent the game quickly and I have enjoyed the game. However, it was too easy to figure it all out and make it through all the levels.

3.0 out of 5 stars Daniel X game May 8, 2011
In my opinon it is a easy game that turns to impossible when you have to go to a command tower that you can't get to, if I were to rate it I'd rate 2 1/2 stars and would never of baught it if I knew this.Daniel X Ultimate Power is an OK game

Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this game about a month ago thinking hey it's based on a James Patterson novel so it must be good...boy was i wrong!!! i mean it had its moments but the game itself is just way too easy! it took me one day to finish it, not even a day, more like 6 hours if that! If they decide to go and make a second version of this game, they will really need to add a lot to it!
