Product Description

Flavor: Divine Okra | Size: 1.25-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

Vacuum fried fresh okra chips. Our Danielle snack chips are hand selected and cooked to perfection using the vacuum frying method, in which selected fruit pieces are put in a vacuum chamber, and a fine mist of heated non-hydrogenated palm oil is sprayed on the fresh fruit pieces under very low pressure and high temperature. This process retains pureness and flavor of the fruits and absorbs less oil than conventional frying methods.

I came across a review by Details Magazine last night: " Pumpkin Chips
Pumpkins are higher in beta- and alpha- carotene than almost any other food, and recent studies have found that those who eat the most orange foods live longer. These thick-cut pumpkin slices are the perfect longevity snack."

wow......Aside from the heath benefits; the pumpkin chips taste great as snacks. Sometime I sprinkle them on salad for extra crunch.

I've seen these beautiful bags @ Whole Foods and some gourmet grocery @ Harvard Sq but hesitated to buy them due to the price tag. Eventually gave them a try (bought pumpkin and okra)... I'm so glad I found them on Amazon!!! Much cheaper !! Love these beautiful slices.... it doesn't look like much but it's actually enough to share between two! Okra is really light and crunchy .. surprisingly good too! Worth every cent !!

Got to know Danielle's chips as it was featured in some magazines recently...Why didn't I know about their products before?? Love them at first try!! Pumpkin chips are really crunchy and refreshing...! Sure they are a bit on the pricey side, but better munching on these than on deep fried potato chips. I"ll finish a bag any time! Oh, I add some chilli flakes for extra kick ;)
