So far this chair has worked out great! The seat is very comfortable and the gliding motion is very smooth. You don't need to put out much effort to rock in the glider and the foot stool makes it even easier to glide. The chair arrived sooner than I thought and the chair was not damaged and the color of the wood was very true to what the picute indicates. It took 30 minutes to put it together - we had an issue with the arm cushions ;). I would highly recommend this chair for anyone who is looking for a glider for his or her nursery. The only down sides to the chair are the seat is not wide enough to fit you, the baby, and a boppy pillow comfortably (for those moms who will brest feed); the cream colored cushions are getting dirty faster than I thought, and if you are sitting close to the edge of the seat DO NOT LEAN FORWARD!! I made the mistake of leaning forward - my little one and I went overboard! Other than that, the chair meets all of my requirements and I would tell others to buy this chair. Especially at the price - you can't beat it. You don't need to pay top dollar to get top quality.

My baby and I love this glider. If I happen to nurse him anywhere else I can tell he is less comfortable. My last glider didn't have the cushions on the arms and was narrower. This glider and ottoman are covered in soft fabric and offer a smooth motion. I'd give it 5 stars as compared with other gliders in the same price range. My only two additional comments are the fabric is light in color and will show some dirt (pretty easy to clean though) and I would have like pockets in the arm cushions for books, magazines, the telephone, and the like. I recently bought this chair for my grandmother and it is perfect for her. It took me about 45 minutes to put together and is very comfortable. I would just caution you not to lean all the way foward or the chair will tip over. But otherwise a very good product.

First let me say that this came in the mail within 3 days. It took me all of 1/2 hour to put it together. Very easy.
Very, very comfortable.

The down side(s): It's white. Cover it up because inevitably, baby will spit up all over it. I put a blanket over it.
Also, it's not wide enough to use the boppy pillow while sitting in it. I learned to nurse him without the boppy in that chair, but really wish it was wider.

Hint: When putting it together, put the arm parts on the opposite way, (sticking out) to make room for baby's legs while holding him in the chair. You'll see what I mean when you get the chair.

I would have rated the chair lower if it weren't so inexpensive. Assembly was very quick and easy. My husband did it in about 10 minutes. The ottoman came pre-assembled, but since we have gotten it (about a week ago) some of the screws that hold the top of the ottoman on to the mechanism have fallen out on their own. I can't imagine this improving over time... I only rock very gently, so am not sure why this is.

I also find this chair very uncomfortable and think my height has a lot to do with it (I am 5'9"). When I first sat down in the chair it felt odd, like it wasn't very supportive. Now I find that if I sit in it for longer than 15 minutes, I am itching to get up and shift around a lot because it is uncomfortable. I think this chair was made to sit a shorter person. The seat itself doesn't feel deep enough and that only gets worse if you add a small pillow to the back for lumbar support, which is necessary with this chair. If you're a shorter person, or have not had any back injuries (I did take a spill during my pregnancy) then this chair might work for you.

This glider is perfect for my baby's nursery. It is affordable yet still strong and sturdy. The color is a little light, so I covered it with a coordinating blanket and I get tons of compliments!!

We've had this chair for one month and it already squeaks when we rock in it. The seat cushion has sucken in and we are lighter folks, too. It's quite crammed and if you're bigger than me, over 5'3" and not petite, it'll be quick uncomfortable. That being said. I might have considered something else that would have eliminated the $40 Target Shipping Price. These reviews made me think it was worth it...quality is just average but not worth this big price tag. Definitely shop around!

I have given this product as a baby shower gift three times. It is so comfortable I am thinking about getting one for myself. It is very good quanlity and easy to put together. The price is right too!

I'll agree with most of the other reviews I've read. It's not the highest quality chair I've ever sat in but it's very comfortable. Everyone says that it's great for the price. I guess so. I would probably expect to pay a little less for it knowing now that I've seen it but all in all, I'm happy. Oh, and yes, the white pillow is probably a negative. Ours hasn't stained yet but this is our first week.
