Being in my early 50's I have the loss of sight experienced in later life. My big problem was applying make up in a professional manor. Couldn't do it with the glasses on and couldn't do it without the glasses. The 10x magnification does the trick and the two light settings are perfect for day and evening application. Beware... this is not for the faint at heart, you'll see yourself in a new light. This mirror will detail every freckle, flaw and blemish you have. With that being said, I have to also add that I noticed a blemish that I thought was a freckle. I had had it for sometime. I only saw that it was a blemish with my 10x mag mirror. I went to the doctor and it turned out to be a pre cancerous lesion. So I guess it is good to see all my flaws.

I went to Vegas and loved the mirrors in the rooms so had to have one when I came home. I read the reviews on this mirror and was unsure but gave it a try and love it. Someone said it was blurry unless up close, that is true but I found that in other mirrors too. This is a very good mirror that allows me to see everything...and some things I don't want to see! :) It stated it was ten times the magnification and I believe it because it is much stronger than the one in my room in Vegas but I'm glad.

I wonder now why I didn't get one sooner and am thinking this will make a good gift for the ladies in my family.

This is such a great mirror and will show every detail as it is a very strong magnification. Now that I am getting up there in age I cannot see as well as before but with this mirror I can see it all. Plucking eye brows is great as you can see almost every brow. I am happy that this has a light as it is very useful.

I liked mine so much, I purchased another one for my daughter. It's a great way to apply make-up without glasses. I also like the adjustability of the mount which allows you to tilt the mirror in any direction for the best view or lighting.

The quality of the mirrow was great, however, the magnification wasn't adjustable and I apparently had no idea how powerful a 10 magnification was. I had to put my face right up against the mirror to get any focus and then I was so close.....and my face was so huge....it hurt my eyes. I returned the product.

I had to return this product because the coating used on the inside had separated from the frame and began to flake all over. The flakes blocked the interior light and began to burn when they landed on the bulb. Poor quality control.

The mirror is great and sturdy. However, I accidentally bumped the mirror (not hard) and the light stopped working. I replaced the bulb and it still doesn't work. I've owned it for less than a week!

Item came with two light bulbs; one was broken. The other worked well. Fairly easy to install. We like the magnification and the control over movement (tip forward, back; swing out or in). Have recommended this product to others.

Very happy with this mirror. The magnification allows you to see the finest detail. I received this item very quickly and would definitely recommend it.
