If you love anything Titanic related, you'll enjoy this movie. Although typical Danielle Steele, the story line is good and I personally loved every costume the lead lady wore. The movie spans several years from about 1912 through the 1920's. Nice, entertaining movie with a good story line. Make a nice hot cup of tea, sit back and enjoy.

This is one of my favorite Danielle Steel books/movie and I had difficulty finding it. Thanks to Amazon.com, I was able to not only find it but purchase it. I watched it the day it was received. Thank you Amazon for having those hard to find items.

I was quite disappointed with this purchase. I ordered the version that is pictured but that is not the version that I received. I received a more modern version but I wanted the original one. I had been looking for this movie for quite a while. Sooooooo disappointed!

My mother was happy to be able to watch another Danielle Steele movie. It arrived in good condition and right on time.

This film lacks a LOT of the book. It is only an hour and a half long so they have had to rush through a lot of details. There is a little bit of language, drug use and a bedroom scene. I wouldn't say this movie is for the whole family. If you are just looking for a little entertainment then this movie is for you.

I must confess I have NOT yet read one of Danielle Steel's marvelous romance novels, and after watching the TV production version of "No Greater Love" I can see I will have to and I will rapidly become one of the many, many devoted fans of hers.


One of the things I don't care for in so many Hollywood romance movies is that they are unreal. Not just romantic unreal, but not even real love, the kind that lasts beyond one torrid weekend of passion. Real Love like Ryan O'Neal wanting to marry Farrah Fawcett when she was inner beautiful but less than her most lovely appearance-wise as she was dying from cancer. Danielle Steele's "No Greater Love" depicts many levels of love - filial, sibling, and multiple variations on romantic love. I so enjoyed watching it.

Additionally, Chris Sarandon, like Brad Pitt, is one of those marvelous Hollywood actors who in the early days of his career was almost cursed with "pretty boy" good looks which detracted from his actual ability to ACT. This 1996 film production features him with a touch of grey around the temples and displays his richly nuanced mature actor's artistry.

Kelly Rutherford depicts our heroine. And who doesn't want just about every single ENSEMBLE in which she appears? You will almost hate her because she looks SO beautiful with minimal make-up and yet she completely won me over with her sweetness as an actress. Delightedly she is currently in "Gossip Girl."

The beauty part of this wonderful romance is the level at which it is REAL and reflects REAL romantic love. I will be watching it often to keep me in that space of REAL ROMANCE which we all crave.
