will make you feel like a pro modeler. Molded in orange, minimal painting is required to have a nice displayed conversation piece. Tom Daniel designed 85+ kits for Monogram from 1967-75, geared for commercial appeal. This one in particular, based on a 1960 Chevy panel car/truck, has some interesting features. All red tinted clear plastic runs from the windshield, thru the roofline and rear window. A bold race stripe decal runs along the console(part includes gauges)up to the dash. A custom chromed grill accents a flip forward front revealing a chrome speckled V8 engine. A chromed roll bar assembly and fuel tanks can be seen through the tinted roof. The chassis has more detail than expected but the chromed pipes are not visible without lifting the model. I used some black, silver, and tan paint, to offset the glowing orange. So to some it up this was fun and a young modeler should be able to assemble it as the parts fit well. I was told by a local hobbier that this kit may be discontinued, so get it fast!
