Daniels and Worthingham's Muscle Testing: Techniques of Manual Examination, 8e (Daniel's & Worthington's Muscle Testing (Hislop))

I have just begun using this text in my DPT program this past week, and it has already come in quite handy. It is a great addition/alternative to the Kendall manual muscle testing text because Hislop includes so many helpful illustrations and clear descriptions of both patient and PT positioning. Our professors have suggested several small edits to the techniques described in the book to allow better body mechanics for the PT, but I am glad to have this text as a thorough guide as I begin to learn manual muscle testing technique.

Good: This book has very helpful text and pictures. It breaks down the grades of manual muscle testing as well as gives you some information on specific muscles.
Bad: the pages are very thin and flimsy, ill probably tear one soon, because they're already bent. The binding is not ideal- a hard cover but an exposed plastic binding. Hopefully they upgrade the quality of the physical book and pages next edition.

I'm a student of physical therapy and I use this textbook for my anatomy class in college. It a pretty good book.
