For the money, this is the best Danish-English dictionary that I could find. I bought a more comprehensive one (used) but it lacked any guide to Danish pronunciation, which this dictionary does have, such as it is. There are two drawbacks to its pronunciation guide: the introduction to pronunciation is not very complete and it's generally geared to UK English. I've found some outrageously expensive dictionaries but there seem to be none in the intermediate budget range. Having given the negatives about this dictionary, it's still a very good buy for the money. I have already bought three.
Hopefully, some Danish-English scholar will develop a good, moderately-priced dictionary comparable with those sold in other, more popular, languages.

If you are looking for a pocket-size Danish-English dictionary, this is the one for you. I am able to comfortably bring it with me when I go to the libary to do geneology research. I like it.

Two color (Blue print word introducing & Black print word as translation) words explanation is so comforted me. It's friendly for progress the Danish world. The tiny useful dictionary have pronunciation express at each words.
This dictionary will become your gate for the Danish. (^_^)g
