This bass pad has a thump that you will love. It is super crisp and clear and will save you HEAD! :)

I was hesitant to try the metal click pads from Danmar at first, thinking it would sound like crapola. I was dead wrong. Mic'd up, my bass drum now sounds like its triggered. Nice, even strokes, a nice punchy click, and still enough depth to sound like a real bass drum, not a digitally made sound. If you play any genre of metal, be it death metal, hardcore, black metal, or whatever, I suggest getting one of these pads.
I do also suggest as well, getting a better adhesive though, as the pads are pretty heavy, and have a tendency to fall off after a good 3 hour bash-fest.
You can read all you want, truth is, you arent going to know unless you try. I suggest to try this pad. Especially if you want a nice punchy click, and cant afford triggers, or dont want to have your bass drum digitally altered.
