A Buddy of mine has a pair of these. And after talking to a lot of other individuals about their boots (likes/dislikes) I decided to get these. Break in was easy, although I'd advise you get a good pair of socks, they improve the comfort of the boot. Haven't had any wet situations to test them out on, but cold, cold I've done. And they are amazing, my toes never got cold once.

I can't now recall when I ordered these but they arrived on Christmas Eve. I am very pleased with the service as I thought they may take at least until mid-January because of the seasonal mail. Great present to me. I have been observing the footwear that the other guys here in Afghanistan wear and apart from sandals, Danner's are the most popular. They look and feel like quality. I've had them on for a couple of hours now and I know I made the right choice.
I wasted two days in the UK looking for suitable footwear but if you want specialist gear this supplier is up there with the best.
I highly recommend this product and supplier.

Boots are amazing. I have been in the military for 13 years and I am on my second pair of Danner boots. I am very satisfied and still wear my first pair for field operations, and am still breaking in my new pair. They are a little heavy but do provide great support for my ankles and foot. Can't count how many times the boot prevented a major ankle injury. Very satisfied and I don't believe I will ever change to a different boot as long as these are made.
