These boots may be fine for lookin' good while your riding a motorcycle, but after actually putting them to the test, I found them to made of very soft leather that wears out quickly, no matter how well I maintained them. The stitching came undone in all kinds of places which seemed to lead to the waterproof lining deteriorating until it failed soon after. once the crosstech lining gets the smallest injury to the weave, it starts to fray, and that speeds up. I got full refund credit from danner and upgraded to some US made boots that ought to be tougher (the Super Rain Forest model). Bottom Line: If you're buying Danner boots because of their reputation for making good boots, consider buying their domestically made boots. They are very proud of them and they will always want you to know exactly what country they are made in.

Having owned many boots and several danner boots. These rate very high on the list. Recraftable, sturdy, very comfortable and more affordable than the acadia. Wider fit than the acadia too, which some will like. They do take a little while to completely break in-- but that is the trade off for a quality sturdy boot. Only negative are laces are way too long and break quickly--not a real issue --$2 fix. I would recommend to anyone who needs a comfortable boot, but isn't a fan of the new tennis shoe style boots--these are just as comfortable once broken in but hold up much better to abuse.

I love these boots. I bought them for work and motorcycle riding. They are well made and the leather is very good quality. They are true to size and soles have a rugged tread. These boots are fairly heavy, but that is what I wanted. If you want a light boot I would recommend the Danner Acadia boots.

they are fairly comfortable. I needed a break-in period with these, unlike the more expensive Danners I own. They seem to get better as I wear them. The laces are waaaaay too long.
