Boots, December 9, 2011
My husband loves these boots for hunting. Only have to purchase every 3-5 years. First time out this year, he was up to his knees in mud. Boots kept his feet clean and dry and cleaned up nicely.

Danner Sierra Gore-Tex Boots, October 12, 2008
I am heading back to the Andes of Argentina after free ranging red stag. On my first trip, I had a well known brand of boots that did not make my feet very happy on the steep rock and shale covered slopes. A hunting buddy had another brand that literally fell apart. The Danner sierra boots, made in the USA, are well constructed, great Goodyear welt and sole that seems sturdy enough for anything the Andes might throw at them. My feet are on the narrow side, and the D width is perfect. There is great ankle support with no excessive weight to the boots. Weight, support and construction were the considerations in choosing boots for this mountain hunt, and I am very pleased with my choice. The Andes trip will take place in February 2009, and I am certain that these Danner boots will be the last thing to cause me any concern, unlike the previous trip.
