my third pair of danner boots, my least favorite.been working in them about 6 weeks and their not as comfortable or flexible as the instigator or gtx. feels like a tube sock approach . i dont think their worth the 160 i paid,a little disapointed.

These are not as flexible as some boots. However they are very solid work boots. They're comfortable and breathe well. I wore them all summer. I work in tough conditions, and I can tell the difference between a good work boot, and garbage. It should be noted that I have narrow (D) feet. If you're looking for a casual, hiking boot, there may be better choices. I also own a pair of Danner Instigator GTXs, but I prefer these. Overall, very good work boots
