I wear these boots every day for at least 12 hours! I'll admit, at 5 to 6 pounds, they are heavier than your average boot, but thats quality and protection well carried in my opinion. I own a pair of Danner Acadia uniform style boots as well, but after 10 years of service, they needed to be resoled, so I bought these to replace them! They are strong and unlike most boots, these are Made in the USA!

The Danner Rainforest are hands down the best, most comfortable bots I've ever had. The have great ankle support and barely show any signs of wear after years of abuse. Just grease them a few times a year they will outlast cheaper boots ten fold. They are way better than any of the china made Danners and better than anything that the "worlds foremost outfitter" makes. Totally worth the money.
