I really enjoyed the songs on this CD. Even if you're not Irish, if you like melodic music, excellent delivery and a full bodied rich voice...this one's for you

I am very fond of any music by Roger Whittaker, but I am especially pleased to say that this is one of my very favotites!!! Roger Whittaker does an excellent job on all of his music, but every time I hear "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" my day just gets better. This CD has several more of my favorite Irish songs including "The Rose of Tralee', "Star of the County Down", "Irish Whistler", "I'll Tell Me Ma", "Uncle Benny", "Danny Boy" & not to forget "Kilgary Mountain".

Being a musician myself, I know the difference between good music and outstanding music. Mr. Roger Whittaker has a voice that is unparalleled in tonality, pitch, vibrato, and pure essence of sound. Bravo! Please keep singing. Please keep making the music available.

Re-listening to Roger Whittaker's uniquely warm singing style is a treat to the ears. The Danny Boy cd is a tribute to anyone who is remotely Irish (and aren't we all?) I also bought his cd: Then and Now, a great collection of his songs that spans many years includes his unforgettable: The Last Farewell. An evening listening to Roger's music is pure joy!

I got this CD and it is really good! I especially enjoyed "Danny Boy"!! If your not Irish I wouldn't reccomend it though. Because this is VERY irish! This is a Fantastict CD!! Enjoy many old favorites on this CD!!
