I am satisfied with the Dansk product, but noticed a slight difference from the original product I purchased a few years ago. When stacked, you can see that the new plates are slightly thicker and the blue around the outside edge does not completely cover it. The original ones came from Portugal and the new ones from Thailand.

This difference is not one that is particularly noticable when placed on the table, so I will definitely use them.

We received this pattern of china for our weddding 20 years ago and it has held up through two teenage boys, entertaining and everyday use. It is amazingly durable, great looking and easy to coordinate different looks with. I am looking to add a couple pieces to replace the few that have chipped over the years. Love it!
