Like the other reviewer, my dishes are a combination of Dansk Concerto Allegro Blue and Christianshavn. We use these pasta bowls all the time, and not just for pasta. They are also good if you are eating soup or casseroles. On the four for three special, they would average in cost to be $8.24 each and with super saver shipping, this is a good price. Even though these are billed as individual pasta bowls, they are large enough to use for condiments as well, so they do double duty as servers.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these pasta bowls as I purchased them sight unseen. They have a nice weight to them and appear very sturdy. They are labeled dishwasher and microwave safe which is a plus. The size is perfect for individual servings of pasta (the main reason I bought these, but you could not doubt use these for soups and serving dishes). Overall I am extremely happy with these and would consider other Dansk products based solely on these pasta bowls.

I ordered these pasta bowls to replace a ceramic set that chipped and cracked with repeated use. I use my pasta bowls constantly for salads, soups, meals in front of the tv and, of course, pasta. I decided to try porcelain thinking it might be more durable than my experience with the cheaper ceramic bowls. The original packaging was quite good and the bowls arrived in excellent condition. These pasta bowls are listed with dimensions of 11.7 x 8.5 x 2.3. My old ceramic bowls had a diameter of 9 1/2 inches so I expected these bowls to be slightly larger. They were not. The true diameter of these bowls is 8 inches. They are very attractive but when I ran my hand over the surface of the porcelain I could feel small imperfections in the surface. I doubt that these would have affected the long term use of the bowls but is just an indication of the poorer quality of Dansk products since they are being produced in China. I intended to return the bowls since they were smaller than I wanted and Amazon customer service was quite good about immediately issuing a return authorization since they were not as described on the web site. I was saved from repacking them by a friend who saw them and bought them from me.
