Essential if you purchase the Danskin weight sets.,

These plates are absolutely essential for use with either the Danskin foam padded barbell or dumbell set. The amount of weight that comes with either of these sets is not enough for any serious fitness enthusiast. If you work out with weights at least twice a week, you need purchase one or two sets of these upgrade plates.This review only gets a 4 in my opinion because: 1. I think that the sets should come with more weight in the first place. The upgrades add quite a bit a money to the original price of the sets. 2. The plates are a bit rounded and so cannot be used with other brands of weight sets. They are only for Danskin products.

This is a great product. It lives up to the Danskin name. It is easy to use, attractive, and works just as it is designed.
