I wasn't 100% sure that I would stick with this when I bought it. I'm the type of person who burns out quickly on one certain type of workout. I've been using this, daily, for several weeks, and I am loving the results I am getting! I was having to wear a size 20 in pants because I have such wide hips; now I am in a size 16! My legs and core feel so strong and tight. It really is a great work out.

Wow, what a surprise. I initially bought this, looked it over and then promptly put it in my closet and forgot all about it. So glad I took it out and gave it another look. The bar is simply two pieces that clip together and have resistance bands with stirrups attached at the end. For something so affordable it's pretty sturdy. The big bonus, though, is the DVD. Much higher production value than I thought and it has 3 short and effective workouts. So, you can do one, two or all three, depending on your mood. Once you have the moves down, though, it's easy to do them while you're watching TV or listening to music. If you want to try Pilates, but don't want to pay the cost of a studio, this is the piece of equipment to invest in. PS - I liked it so much, I bought a couple of other pieces from the Danksin line and have enjoyed them as well.

DANGEROUS,

The third time I used this bar the elastic came undone from the hardware and whipped back into my face and arm, leaving a 6 inch welt on my forearm, and thankfully only grazed my face; I can't imagine what damage that would have caused. Also, DVD skips frequently. I am extremely hesitant to try another one.
