Danskin Women's Cotton Drawstring Pant

I just got Danskin drawstring cotton knit pants at Walmart that look just like this for $13. There are only a few differences: mine is 84% cotton, 5% spandex and 11% polyester. This means that I can wash it in warm water and dry it on perma press. I also have zippers on my pockets which is nice for my car keys and ipod. I bought two, one in turquoise and the other in black. They are incredibly comfortable, wash, dry and wear, and the drawstring is perfect for getting the comfiest fit. Danskin has its own area in the Walmart stores in the women's clothing section.

When I ordered these pants, the Danskin Drawstring Pant, I was looking for a pair of casual pants that I could pull on quickly for shopping and other public activities. I am 72 years old and tired of wearing jeans every place I go. These pants are a little too short to pass as long pants and too long to be capris. I am 5'6" and medium weight so am not exceptionally tall. I would be so embarrassed if one of my grandchildren would see me wearing these, I would probably be gently led to the nearest retirement home. There is nothing that makes me feel old as wearing long, full legged pants that are too short. Regretfully, these pants have been added to my abundant supply of exercize pants.

They do have an added bonus - the pockets are handy for my cell phone, etc. When the weather gets warmer I will either roll them up or cut them off. They are fairly light weight so will be better for summer wear.

I do take responsibility for my purchase, the model wearing them is also too tall for the pant. I assumed she was 6' at least as the inseam given should have been perfect for my height..disappointed, but certainly not my last Amazon purchase!
