Fits great, is not see-thru. Does not have shelf-bra inside, but has good support. Has slightly higher neckline than shown in photo.
I am 5'4" and 120 lbs (slim). On advice of others I got a "large" and is perfect.

Order up two sizes. My daughter is 5'3 and 125 pounds and we ordered a Medium. Much, much too small. We returned it. Two other points: the quality seemed just fine and the return process was a breeze. No cost shipping via UPS on the return. Can't hate that.

I ordered a large and an x-large. Normally I would order a large according to the size chart. So, I ordered both because I know leo's will be snug. The large doesn't really fit too tight but the but rides up when I bend over. The x-large does not. I will order x-large from now on.
Cloth is not show-thru. Crotch width is the right width. Excellent product!

I have always loved Danskin,You can not buy Danskin anymore in adult sizes in the dance supply stores.I looked all over for a leotard, then I called a dance supply store I have known that has been in business for over 50 years,Danskin sold out to a company overseas,so I was worried when I ordered this, but it's great, same as the old Danskin stuff,I don't know where you get this from, but I'm glad you do!!!!I highly recommend this item for anyone, whether it be for dance or just to wear with your jeans, much better better than Capezio in my opinion,,,,,,,,Thank you,,,,I hope you keep this item in stock for a long time!!!!!!!

This leotard is perfect. I am 5'2" and 120 lbs- with a small D-cup. Based on other reviews I ordered the large instead of the medium, it fits great. Thick material- not see through at all. I purchased it for a costume and it is exactly what I wanted. Not shiny either- easy to match to tights.

The quality was fine but it runs very small. I ordered a medium and I wanted it to fit snugly but this is crazy tight. I can wear it but it takes some doing to get it on! It isn't worth the shipping cost to send it back or I would.

This leotard had a nice color to it and it was a good length. BUT the arms are super tight even though I am a small skinny person. Overall, the leotard was nice but I did not appreciate the sleeves that barely fit my skinny arms.

Very high quality fabric. I was impressed and surprised by how these are even better than the older versions. I bought two, and I'm glad I did.

Honestly when I first opened the package and say my medium leotard I thought that it would be too small for me to put on. I held it up to my body and the arms looked like they went mid length not as they did in the model. But it really stretches for you, and the sleeves do go all the way to your wrists.
Arms were a bit of a struggle but you manage. really tight on the arms. (Which is a good thing)

I give it five stars because it is one of the best dancing leotards I own that is more of a cheaper buy. But when I say "cheap" I mean that in regards to the price, not the quality. It's defiantly a durable material that is thin enough to move around with ease and thick enough were it won't show through. I personally love wearing leotards not just for dance, but also for day to day wear. Even if you don't partake in any physically demanding activities or sports I would highly recommend buying this to match with other outfits.
For example; you could wear this leo as a top and match it with a cute mini pencil, ruffle, etc. skirt(s). Since it fits skin tight to your body, you won't have to worry about tucking it in to what ever your wearing like a cami.

But back to the product it's self. I usually wear mediums, sometimes larges. I'm a slim figure, I chose a medium in this leo and it fits great.

One thing you do have to look out for is underwear/bras/panties. I personally choose not to wear any thick bras (like the ones that are supposed to hit the nipples) just because it feels too tight on the bust when I wear that bra and this leo. I'd say pick a bra you can move around in athletically.
Panties are a no. I will sometimes wear thongs/ g-strings, or go bare. Panties just show from the sides of the leo since it does cut through only a small area of the crotch. Pairing them with opec tights could also work for you.

I suggest getting the size you would normally wear.

I'm 5'7 with an athletic build and usually wear 10/12. I would say my torso is normal length (not short or long). I ordered the xlarge. It fit perfectly. It is a good thickness. I agree with another review that said the neckline is a little higher cut than the picture shows. I bought this to wear under overalls. Because it is a little higher neckline I have pulled it off the shoulders and worn it like that. It is very cute with overalls. I have ordered another leotard that says "scoop neck" that I hope has more of the neckline that I was wanting. Overall this is a good leotard at a good price that runs true to size in my opinion. Also it does no good when a reviewer tells you what size they ordered and says "it fits great" but then doesn't tell you their body type/size.
