I get compliments on these shoes all the time, which is a bonus since I bought them to be comfortable. I walk allover UMASS-Amherst campus in these and feel that my feet and back are well-supported. In fact, these shoes look even better when they're a little scuffed up. Definetely worth the money.

This is my second pair of Dansko professional clogs. Since my first pair were black, I had to get a pair in brown, too. (Now I can wear them absolutely everyday and match all my outfits!) While they may take a bit to get used to, they are hands down the most comforatable shoe I've ever worn. I had a job where I had to be on my feet for hours at a time and my feet were never tired. I wore them throughout my last two pregnancies and just wish I had known about them when I was pregnant with my first child! I would recommend them to anyone!

I'm a first semester nursing student who is on my feet for several hours a day during clinicals and labs. When I was buying my clinical uniform, I bought a pair of black tennis shoes, thinking they would be fine. I did OK for the first couple of months, but then started having problems with my back and my feet. My feet were tired and sore at the end of the day, and my back was aching. I decided I needed better shoes, so I went to the local scrub shop and tried on a pair of Dansko clogs. I had them on for only a few minutes in the store and I didn't want to take them off. I left without them, but went back a couple days later and bought a pair. The first day I wore them, I could tell a huge difference in my feet and back. My arches were supported, my feet felt so much better, and my back was not sore at all. I absolutely love these clogs and will wear them until they fall apart...then replace them!

I am returning yet another pair of Danskos. I've worn these shoes for many years and at one time had Danskos in virtually every color. I'm returning these because--once again--the fit is way off. Since Dansko started having their clogs made by a new manufacturer, the fit is totally unpredictable. I notice that other reviewers are starting to notice the same problem. I have switched to Sanita--Dansko's old manufacturer. The fit is much more reliable. The new Danskos are either way wide or way narrow and the length is off.

I literally wear these shoes everyday. The last pair (same leather and color) lasted me five years. The structure supports high arches very well and is the only shoe that keeps my arches from feeling sore at the end of a long day on my feet. If you have narrower feet I recommend buying the narrow option, as the leather stretches out over time.

LOVE Danskos! That's the only shoe I wear now. I have a black and a brown pair. I wear them with all my suits and casuals...nice enough for the courtroom but casual enough for an office paperwork day!

The only issue I have is I wear a women's 10 and the size in Dansko (European sizing) is a 41 which fits slightly bigger than the US equivalent...

I already had a pair of dansko clogs that have lasted me over 7 years. My new pair is just as great - very supportive of my arches, comfortable, and versatile. I was thrilled to see that danskos also come in narrow! They are perfect!

The wife absolutely loves the shoes. She is on her feet for at least 6 hours each day at a hospital and these shoes are incredible compared to walking or running shoes. She will definitely buy again.

I ordered these shoes from Amazon because most stores don't carry my size. People advise to go to the store for these shoes because they have different fits. I don't find that to be true. I stepped in these shoes and it feels like I've been wearing it for months. The shoes don't need breaking in. I'm a nurse, work long hours, and on my toes all day. These shoes are better than any tennis shoes that I used to wear. I think the size run large though. I normally wear a size 6 but with these shoes I have to order a 35 which is a (5 - 5 1/2). Size 36 which is equivalent to (6 - 6 1/2) are way too large. My advise is order 1 size smaller. Another thing with this item is you're ordering it directly from Amazon and not from a third party. My order came in three days with free shipping. Amazon had been my to go store whenever I don't find something anywhere else. Most of the time though I don't even look somewhere else I just go on Amazon. It's faster, cheaper and easy returns. Thanks Amazon. Looking forward to doing more and more business with you. I'm one happy nurse.

I never thought I would like clogs, but got a brand new hand-me-down pair of Danskos several years ago and loved them. The old shoes started to look a little worn out, but still were great fitting shoes, but I decided I needed something nicer looking for work, so I bought a new pair of Danskos. Unfortuantely, the design of the shoe had changed and they did not fit the same. The toe design changed and that made the shoe a bit shorter so my toes jammed against the inside of the shoe. I tried a larger size, but they were too big. In addition, the arch support is almost non-existant in the newer Danskos. Also disappointing is that the trim on the newer clog is made from vinyl and started to break and frey after only four months of wear, whereas my old clogs (now five years old) still have no freying and there doesn't seem to be any parts made from vinyl. I will not be buying these Danksos again. They don't fit the same and they wear out sooner. I recently found out that Sanita used to make the old Danskos and that they are still making clogs sold under the Sanita name. The Sanita clogs are made in Europe (not China as are the newer Danskos). I will be buying my next pair of clogs from Sanita.
