5.0 out of 5 stars Don't get me wrong I LOVE them but...
Buying them online is a horrible idea!!! Each pair is handmade, and no two clogs are exactly the same size. When I bought mine a few months ago in the store, I had to try on 6 different pair in the same size to find a good fit.

But, if you do insist on buying them online...

I already have two other pair of Dansko Professional clogs, and they are very comfortable. I am disappointed in the comfort of the most recent pair I purchased. I have noticed that some of the clogs do say by Danita. Thanks to happy mommy mentioning Sanita, I googled Sanita clogs. Below is a statement found online from the Original Clogs website:

For the last 17 years, all Dansko Professional clogs and all Dansko Stapled Clogs have been manufactured by Sanita in Europe. The relationship between Dansko and Sanita ended in August 2007. Since then, Sanita entered the US market and is now distributing their products directly. If you are looking for the Original stapled clogs with patent number 0060240 stamped on the bottom (made by Sanita exclusively), then look no further as our website features Sanita Clogs' products exclusively.

I ordered the "original" clogs by Sanita and they fit as comfortably as the two other pair I have. The number mentioned above is stamped on the bottom.

The back of the pro is a false back - which means it should NOT hug your heel - the back should fit loose, and your heel is supposed to slip up and down as you walk. It is weird at first, but after a few days of wearing them you won't even notice.

The arch is HIGH. Like crazy high. Again, that is the way they are supposed to fit. It takes a few days to get used to - then it feels awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THEM!!!!!, September 4, 2007
I have a really hard time finding shoes that fit me comfortably, that's why I was thrilled to find Dansko shoes. I have the Professional style and know I can walk 5 miles in them. I happen to like clogs and they blend into my wardrobe just fine. If they were a bit cheaper, I'd have all the colors. For now, I have 2. Oh, and buy the size up from your normal size.

5.0 out of 5 stars These make my size 9 feet look small, November 17, 2008

**Update:** I've been wearing this pair of Danskos for 5 years and they're still holding strong. The insole does feel a bit hard to me these days, so it needs a thin cushy insole. Otherwise, they look great, I run a polishing cloth thingy over them every couple months to add a bit of gloss to them. These Danskos were more expensive than other shoes, but they're worth it, they're great quality and built to last. They won't fall apart on you.

**Original review:**
I love these Danskos! I have this clog in black, size 39 (I normally wear a size 9). I went to a store to try these on so I got the correct size, and I wear a thinner sock. I needed a shoe for a new job that wasn't a business dress shoe, yet wasn't a tennis shoe. These fit the bill, and I fell in love with them. I never wear tennis shoes to run errands in anymore, the Dansko clogs are always on my feet when I leave the house. Comfortable, yet so much more professional looking than a tennis shoe!

Another reason I love these shoes? They make my feet look tiny! I'm 5'9", so naturally, I'm going to have a larger foot than someone 1/2 a foot shorter than me. Size 9 shoes can sometimes look like clown shoes. But these Danskos rock, I wear them all the time with long boot-cut jeans, just slip 'em on and go. When my sister (also a size 9 shoe) saw me wearing these Danskos, she immediately exclaimed how small and cute my feet looked. Nice. =)

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of all..., August 25, 2007

I have multiple pairs of the DANSKO professional line.... I teach and am on my feet all day- these shoes prevent fatigue in my feet, legs and lower back (with which I have trouble). I have tried so many other high quality brands (Clarks, Born, Bass, etc.) of shoes and nothing provides the support over such a long day as DANSKO. I highly recommend these shoes- they are a little pricey, but they hold up very well- they are totally worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love my Danskos, September 30, 2008
I have been wearing Danskos ever since I discovered them working in restaurants. I have been wearing my black ones CONSTANTLY for the last six years and they have just started a small crack in the sole. I think that is a great value. My podiatrist said they were great for may feet so I used that as an excuse to buy the brown ones. I LOVE EM!

I also checked around and this is the best price your going to get - WITH free shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort and Style, November 24, 2007
Dansko is by far the best shoes for comfort and style; not only for those who work all day on their feet, but for those of us who may carry a little extra weight. The shoes align your body just right to avoid backache and knee strain. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone that has such problems. You won't regret the money spent. Plus, the shoes will last a very long time which justifies the price. You will never go back to another shoe once you have tried Dansko.

1.0 out of 5 stars 2 consecutive blow outs :(, September 7, 2010
2 consecutive blow outs of the Dansko oiled Cutter style shoes .

The first pair split one of the soles at 10 months of use . This was in July of 2009 . Took them back to the store where they were purchased and they sent them back to Dansko to see if they would honor a replacement . They did , although the process took 4 months before I got the replacement pair . Fast forward to last Sept 3 2010 . After less than 9 months of usage one of the soles on the replacement pair not only split completely across the sole but separated on both sides . Plenty of usable tread on the soles so they were not worn out at all . So of course I take them back to the store they came from . Manager of the store calls me today and says they cannot help me because now Dansko only has a 6 month warranty on failures and I have to contact them on my own . I'll see what happens .

Dansko =
Expensive
Poorly made in China .
6 Month warranty
EPIC FAIL !

5.0 out of 5 stars Dansco Clog, November 23, 2008
By

(REAL NAME)
After trying on a friend's new Dansko Professional clogs, I knew that they were just what I needed. I remembered that nurses seemed to wear them (in white) and as a teacher, I too was on my feet a good portion of the day. I checked prices locally and on the web, and Amazon beat everyone. My Dankso's are heavy and very substantial, and the arch support is more than adequate. The sizing is a bit tricky because they are European. I erred to the larger because I was right in the middle in US size, and they are perfect even with tights or thin knee socks. They have some really fashion-forward styles, but I went with basic black leather for a starter pair.
