5.0 out of 5 stars Great pair of Dansko's!
I am the proud owner of 5 pairs of Dansko's - this being #5 - I LOVE the lighter weight and the cut out sole - they have a little dressier look to them than the standard Dansko. I was a bit nervous about trying them - but absolutely NO regrets - positively a great Dansko Shoe!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth $20, let alone $100
I paid over $100 for a pair of shoes that has a thin layer of leather covering that scratches and peels off VERY easily. My old pair of danskos cost roughly the same but they lasted me three years. This pair lasted less than a month. Two weeks ago I packed them for a trip and something in my luggage must've scratched them because I had a white dot showing where black...

I paid over $100 for a pair of shoes that has a thin layer of leather covering that scratches and peels off VERY easily. My old pair of danskos cost roughly the same but they lasted me three years. This pair lasted less than a month. Two weeks ago I packed them for a trip and something in my luggage must've scratched them because I had a white dot showing where black leather used to be. Then today I my toe scraped along the edging of a sidewalk and now I have a very big white spot where black leather used to be.

Fail, Dansko. Poor quality and nothing what I expect from a Dansko shoe.

3.0 out of 5 stars too snug, March 5, 2009
These are great looking shoes but not comfortable for me. I have a high instep, and this shoe was very tight across the top of my foot. Length wise it was perfect but just too tight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased!, September 29, 2008
These shoes were all I was hoping for: comfortable, sturdy, good-looking. They are lighter in weight than Dansko originals, which is nice. I like the padded insole, too. I'm glad I found them!

2.0 out of 5 stars Very poor outer leather quality!, July 4, 2010

I have worn Dansko clogs for the past 6 years. My 2 pairs finally wore out from constant daily use. I bought a black pair of Sienna clogs and am very disappointed in the quality of the leather. The outer leather layer is super thin and has a white non leather layer right beneath it. I am really gentle on my shoes have worn this pair mostly in a hospital setting and after wearing them just a few days, I noticed white marks were the leather was scratched??? I had to apply shoe polish at least once a week and consequently seldom wear the Sienna clogs now. The shoe polish (miltray type KIWI) did not cover the white marks well- I guess because shoe polish does not like to stick to this materal. Otherwise, the shoe looks nice, is light weight, and comfortable, though it feels very different from an orignal Dansko clog. So, if you don't mind a lot of maintenance you may be happy with this Dansko Sienna clog.

If you want an original quality make and feel "Dansko" shoe, go to the "Sanita" site and get a Sanita clog. This is what I did and I am very happy with my Sanita pair.

Update 5/15/2011:
I found a synthetic liquid Kiwi shoe polish that holds up and I wear these shoes now every day at work. They are definitely comfortable and much lighter then my old Dansko. Keep in mind if you order the brown ones. I have seen several pretty shabby looking ones, because it is hard to match shoe polish.

I am really glad I purchased a pair of Dansko's. The fit is perfect and they are well made. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The style works well with business casual wear, as well as dressier slacks for concerts and other events. I was a bit hesitant initially because of the price, but based on the fit and quality, this was a far better purchase than the inexpensive shoes I usually buy and then regret after wearing a few times.

These are well-made shoes. I wear size 8, I ordered size 38 and they are a little tight lengthwise, no "pencil" space at the heels. But I am afraid the next size up would be too big.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dansko Sienna: comfort, style and easy care!!, November 10, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
my second pair of dansko clogs, and definitely the most stylish, and easiest to care for. They rarely need polishing, and always look neat and clean. The amazing thing is that they are comfortable! They are made from a stiffer leather, with a beautiful finish. On first try, I thought they might be too short or tight, but I've worn them for lengthy active days, and there was no compromise to comfort.

Very comfortable and stylish shoe offering great support. I wear it in two colors daily to work, where I am on my feet most of the day in the medical field. I wear dress clothes and the Sienna is a stylish step up from the professional version. My only complaint is the sizing. I typically wear a 37 but they were too short. The 38 is a bit big so that occasionally I trip if I'm trying to walk briskly.

Love these shoes! They're comfortable right out of the box plus very cute and stylish. I'm an overpronator and these shoes support my arch superbly. I highly recommend them, especially if you are on your feet a lot and/or do a good deal of walking.
