We purchased this faucet as part of a remodel in August of '07. We were looking for a quality faucet that was an alternative to some of the bigger names brands out there (Kohler, Grohe, etc.) but also something not from a big box store since we know that they are usually of inferior quality.

This faucet has been very solid during it's use in our main bathroom of our house. The turning of the knobs has remained smooth throughout the past 2+ years. The prior reviewer may have gotten a lemon and I encourage them to install the replacement that was sent to them. The finish on ours doesn't even have a scratch on it. On a similar note, Danze customer service is excellent. We had a minor issue with out kitchen faucet where the disk wasn't sitting properly and they sent us an entire head. Our pot filler faucet was damaged when our pipes froze and the unit literally blew off the wall and when I called to get a replacement piece, they shipped it out to us free of charge.

we purchased this faucet for a remodel it was our second choice as the first choice was not readily available, on back order for months. to finish the bath we selected this one. within 1 month the finish was coming off the base. we received another one from the parent company but have not installed it yet. in the meantime the finish has come off the sink stopper. I'm almost afraid to go ahead and install the new one. Will there be a problem again.

this product appears to be of very good quality. Can't predict how the finish will hold up over the long haul. Solid brass(copper) undersides(no plastic)
