Excellent value,

We purchased two of these for our kitchen. Installation was a snap. The finish is beautiful and we like its sleek design. It's not big and bulky like some other brands. The finish goes well with our stainless steel faucet (a different brand). Other reviews have mentioned universal problems with the springs not being strong enough to dispense the soap or lotion. This dispenser's spring is very good. We use Method dish soap, which is quite thick, and have had no problems with dispensing. This is a thoughtfully designed, functional dispenser and, for the money, an especially good value.

I bought this dispenser to go with my new faucet (Schon 404). It's a great match, and I love the design aesthetic.
It worked great for a week, and suddenly started leaking soap. Then, when you go to pump soap, you now have to pump three, four, or maybe even five times to get soap to come out. But then it leaks for hours afterward. My husband seems to think that it's because of the nozzle, but after reading other reviews from this same brand, it appears to be an issue of the return spring quality. I'm going to look into replacing that. This dispenser replaced a cheapo Home Depot dispenser that worked fabulously for at least five years with not a single problem - but it did have an arched nozzle. We tried to replace that dispensers functionality with this one, but they weren't interchangeable. Oh, and two weeks after getting it, I've yet to be billed. It says it will ship soon. Hard to return something that shows it hasn't been shipped!

I purchased the Danze Parma because I wanted a soap dispense with simple style. Many of the ones I've looked at have too many curves or other styling that just didn't fit the modern look I wanted for my kitchen. It's been installed in the kitchen for almost two months not. I have to say I'm disappointed with the quality compared to the cheaper Pegasus dispenser I bought years ago from HD for my last place.
This dispenser is slim which I like, but it also mean it feels a bit unstable. As you push down, it can move a bit from side to side which I don't like. It's not broken or anything, but it just seems flimsy that way. Also, I've noticed that if you don't use it frequently, the soap (I'm guessing) must slide back down into the bottle rather than stay up the straw (like with a pump lotion bottle). Because of that, the next day or so, I find that I have to pump several times to get the liquid soap to come out. With my old dispenser, it always came out the minute I pushed down. The previous pump was good enough that I only need press down a little if I just wanted a dab of soap rather than a whole squirt. I don't have that fine control with the Danze. Overall, it does the job, but I've had better. **update May 2011** Now the opposite is also happening. Sometimes soap continues to leak out after we've finished washing dishes for the night. I'll come back a few hours later and find a puddle of soap collecting in the sick. It's annoying to see the soap get wasted. And in the past month, our sink has started to rust where the soap drips. I'm not sure if it's dishwashing soap in general or this particular dishwashing brand but I think it's time to replace the dispenser before the problems gets more expensive.

It's a good-looking dispenser, and it's easy to install. But after you use it, it dribbles soap out of the spout for the next hour. Every time you use it, you have to pump it a few times to replace the dribbled-out soap then clean up the soap below it in the sink.

Pros:
- Looks good. - Feels solid. The parts you touch are metal, which is not a given in this category. - Has a nice long arm, so it will very likely clear your counter. Cons: - It leaks soap. Not all the time, but enough to be annoying.

Purchased 2 of these for our new kitchen to hold dish and hand soap. Threaded body is quite long and was able to penetrate through 3/4" granite slab, shims and 5/8" plywood underlayment. However I did have to use a large hole saw to cut a whole out of the additional 3/4" crossbeam that the cabinet was constructed of in order for the nut to thread on underneath.
The finish is nice and quality seems decent considering the price. I can't believe how much these things cost! Have been using it for 6 months and the only negative is that I see a slight green tinge to some of the soap that sits inside the end of the nozzle and I wonder if that is the insides corroding away? Only time will tell.

Runined my brand new sink,

I bought the Danze soap dispenser and I am very upset. It ruined my new under-mounted sink in the first 24 hours of installing the dispenser in our new kitchen. I used the soap dispenser right after it was installed. Went to bed nothing leaking. I went to work the next day at noon. Used the soap dispenser a few times before I left. Came home and there was soap in my sink and the soap must of dried and I have small circle of stain in my brand new stainless steel sink. I am trying to get them to buy and install a new sink or is there a product that would take the damage away? They have not been very helpful yet. I sent an email with a picture of the damage and they have not responded to me. I am trying to call back the customer service manager on Monday.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and bought this modern stainless steel Danze soap dispenser to match a faucet which I purchased from Amazon.com. It looks very nice beside the faucet and is very durable. I love it!

Pretty but expensive and the finish didn't last,

We redid our powder room and our kitchen. We used Danze faucets and 2 of these soap dispensers. While beautiful, they ultimately are not worth even half of what you pay. In the 2 years since we purchased them, both leak regularly, leave green tinged stained from the dripping, and both have lost their finish on the tops where we press down. I am very very disappointed.

This soap dispenser looks as good as some much more expensive ones we saw and works very well. A good value fore the price and looks great in our mod kitchen.
