Darcourt is one of the best gothic suspense books I've ever read. A feisty heroine, an unusual but romantic hero and mysterious goings-on are some of the ingredients that make up this highly entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable novel. I heartily recommend it for anyone who enjoys romantic suspense.
