Darda cars and track systems are the best! We got our first set last year and my 4yr old loved it. We're still adding on and he's still busy racing his cars. There are stop-and-go cars so you can have car chases. The ultra speed cars easily make the loops and entire course. There are no batteries, nothing to pull or wind, just push the car back and forth a few times and it flies around the track. The motors are replaceable, but we haven't worn any out yet. I hope to see the car and track inventory increase here; theyre not easy to find but a fantastic find! We all enjoy it.

I bought this based on great reviews I saw online. I loved that no batteries were required and my two guys, 2 and 4, wanted a race track. The race track didn't survive my kids although the cars did. The cars are in the diaper bag, ready for emergency play and they're a lot of fun. The track, however, is kind of boring. You can't race the cars and there's only so many times you can pull the car back and watch it go. This would be a much better toy if two kids could race their cars side by side.

Great Price, great product. Only wish they would give you more than one car because ours was lost after two weeks so we have to order another one.

We got this racetrack after first getting a slot-car race track for our 3 year old son. He wanted a "loopty-loop" track, but we soon found out that a slot-car type track was much too advanced for him to even operate, let alone put together. This race track is AWESOME!!! Easy enough for our 5 year old daughter to help our son put together and very colorful and durable. The cars are quite easy to learn how to "rev up", but our son also just enjoys pushing them around himself. We are very very pleased with this track and the car that came with it.

This is a great track for anyone having trouble finding "old style" "Hot Wheels" tracks that don't involve electronics and water for the tracks. The only problem with the track set that I noticed wasn't with the track at all. The car itself (and the motor inside) stripped roughly 30 minutes after my 3 year old got this for Christmas. I watched the whole time and the motor wasn't wound beyond its tension level, but now the only car that came with the set won't "race" around the set... that is disappointing. Overall, great set - but buy extra cars with it.

What a great product! We purchased this for my 31/2 year old son. He loves it! No batteries needed and no annoying sounds, just great fun. Easy for him to hook the pieces together. He has spent a lot of time putting the track together, running the car on the track, and then creating a new track design. We couldn't find anything like this in the stores. The tracks in the stores are all bells and whistles and the themes seemed too old for him (skulls, etc). This was well worth the price we paid and we plan to add to our starter speedway for his birthday.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my nephew, who is almost 4. It's been a while since someone posted a review, so I figured I should. I've watched him play with it for a while, and here are my thoughts:

PROS
Car - it's kinda cool that this car winds up when you pull it back or push it forward. I had to teach my nephew to put pressure on it to make sure the wheels didn't slip but he got the hang of it. The only thing I have noticed is that my nephew doesn't really play with the car that came with the track (maybe he didn't learn as well as I thought). He spends most of the time pushing his Hot Wheels or Cars movie cars on the track, making them crash or manually propelling them through the loops.
Loops - the car definitely has enough juice to go through the loops (although the most I've gotten it to do is two complete laps before it has to be wound up again)

CONS
Assembly - it only took me a few minutes to put this together, but it's not something a 4-year-old could do on his own. We've just left it assembled so he can play with it whenever he's ready.
Single track - the first thing my nephew asked was how he could race two cars, but you can't. You'll have to get one of the pricey Hot Wheels tracks to do that. Those don't have wind-up cars, though (I don't think).
Design - you would think the loop track pieces would be designed to bank up and to the left (or right) where they connect with the two red '+' pieces but they don't - instead, you have to flex them a bit to connect them. It works, but there's tension at the junction and periodically you have to push the track pieces back together. Not a huge deal though, although gaps in the track could derail the car and frustrate kids.

Overall I think this is a decent alternative to the $50 Hot Wheels tracks I was considering.

This is a great toy because it comes apart and can be stored and reassembled easily. There are no mechanical parts to the track itself so there's less to break. We bought this for our 2 year old son and he loves it! He has NO issues playing with this by himself. Really a terrific buy. Perfect for grandma's house too since it breaks down into smaller pieces.

The darda track is great. However the car only worked once, then it wouldn't work at all. The company was great about sending out a replacement motor, however it was very disappointing to have a new car track and no car to run around the track.

My boys really like how fast the Darda cars go around the race track. Need to make sure the children use the cars correctly so they don't break.
