5.0 out of 5 stars It Really Works - This is an AWESOME toy
We bought this for our boys ages 4 and 7 for Christmas. I was skeptical that the cars could really go through the loops until I read reviews on Amazon that they really worked and I have to tell you - they REALLY WORK. No batteries! My guys loved it. 3.0 out of 5 stars Nice track set
I got this for my 3 and half year old daughter who loves cars. A great hit at first but she did get bored pretty quick. The track assembly is not quick and its pretty hard for a little kid. Might be better for a 5 year old. Pieces and tracks seem pretty durable and you can change the track to do all sorts of stuff. Clean up is not quick. Also one of the cars pooped...

We bought this for our boys ages 4 and 7 for Christmas. I was skeptical that the cars could really go through the loops until I read reviews on Amazon that they really worked and I have to tell you - they REALLY WORK. No batteries! My guys loved it. The track takes a while to build the first time but my little guys helped me with it and after I built one loop I attached two long pieces of track so they could try it and they were hooked right away. I kept doing that until I had the whole track built and the CARS are amazing. We have used other tracks by Hotwheels etc. that push the cars using a motor and the kids always jammed them in the motor or the cars would fall out of the loop, not with this track it is awesome. Because of the design the track is really sturdy and the cars fly through the loops. Awesome toy - highly recommend it.

This replaced a different brand pullback car track. The other brand had cars that broke within a couple of days.

A month and a half after Chistmas and the track and cars work fine.

It's a blast to play with and drives the dog nuts.

Might be better for a 5 year old. Pieces and tracks seem pretty durable and you can change the track to do all sorts of stuff. Clean up is not quick. Also one of the cars pooped out after just 5 days. I will call Darda to see if they will give me a new one. Overall a pretty decent toy.

Oh yeah this thing was really cool the first two days, but my 4 & 7 yr olds found it pretty boring thereafter. Seriously, how many times can you watch two cars go around a track when you are those ages? Then after a few weeks, the cars that came with it can't even make it around the track anymore. Regretting the decision to buy it.

1.0 out of 5 stars The first week was wonderful!, February 1, 2012

Santa brought this racetrack for Christmas 2011. At first it was a lot of fun. The cars were very fast, the track is easy to put together and my husband & son had a blast playing with it. By the end of the first week the cars had lost power and were unable to go around the track. We ordered a replacement car hoping that the cars sold separately would be better quality than those that came with the track. Our replacement car (Darda FedEx #11 Denny Hamlin) arrived this afternoon & is not able to make it around the track even once. We now have a very upset son & a large, nearly useless track. The cars are very expensive for what they are & do not last. Terribly disappointing since the track itself was such a great design. I would strongly urge other parents NOT to waste their money on a Darda track!

My son got this for Christmas and was so excited to play with it - BUT, the cars could almost never make it around the track without falling off. My son kept screaming in frustration, and finally after trying to play with it for an hour or so, the cars stopped working altogether and he hasn't been able to play with it since. We did order new cars but nearly 2 weeks later they still haven't arrived so we now just have this big track sitting around unused. I would say this track is a great concept but until the cars improve, the set is really a waste of time and money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Toy--per my kid !!!!!!!!!!, December 24, 2011

So my child is begging me to put on this review since he opened this as his Christmas present this AM. He is loving it....so much creative opportunity. He said, "Mommy I love it, it's the best present ever!"...then gave me a hug! He loves to build. Even loops that looked impossible, were actually possible---his words were "This is epic"! Cool! He is 8 1/2 years old and enjoys Legos, too. This takes it to the next level for him because it's so interactive. I have used/tested some hot wheels tracks and they are "junk" according to my kid and me.

For the following reasons we like the Darda:

1)Durable with one caveat

2)Creative building

3)Cars don't require any batteries

4)Sets are compatible for even more building options

4)Not a loud toy (ok, my son doesn't care about this but I do)

I need to add this, I bought this used (off a local web classified site-CL-an individual) and the some of the small track joiners were damaged, so I don't know how much play it received before it came to my house, but hopefully I have the option to order more, it seems as they are available. Apparently after so much previous play, the car that was "bumped" was not working. I bought new cars to go with this used set from Amazon. The Bump and Go Ultra Speed Black Porsche, which didn't last one day...still runs, but won't pause before it's bumped. Also bought Nascar Kellogg's Monte Carlo and it seems to be working great.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday as she and her sister were still playing with their fisher price race car set and since she was turning 7 thought she would like one more "grown up". After looking at Hot wheels and Matchbox I decided to go with Darda. Well, I wish I hadn't.

On her birthday we set it up and the bump n go motor died not to long after they started playing with it. A few days later my daughter came to me and said that two tracks were cracked. Then my other daughter pointed out that the curved tracked was yes, indeed cracked as well.

I contacted Schylling and have not heard back it has been well over a week. After Christmas, I plan to call and see if I can actually talk to someone. Also, a big pain is that per their website out of all the stores listed that would carry Darda locally, only one store carried it. However, they only had one car. ONE! And they told me they didn't even know if they would continue to carry this line.

My girls are very upset that they can play with this set. Should have went with blue track with a few hot wheels and matchbox.

This was a waste of money and time for me. If you are looking at this track or line you might want to check ahead to see if you can buy anything locally.

I had Darda when I was a kid and wasn't aware they were still around. The new cars are lighter (more plastic), but the motors are MUCH more durable. The tracks are also stronger and more durable. there's a lot of new creations possible with the tower designs.

I took this track and a handful of cars to a family party and it entertained all the kids ages 1 to 23 and many of the adults as well. They didn't even know something like this existed. They had a great time.

PROS: A lot of fun and tons of options/setup designs. The cars/motors can do amazing things.

CONS: Many of the designs require adult help to prevent damaging the tracks/parts. However, it is very sturdy once put together. The instructions aren't that great for assembly, but you can figure it out after a little trial/error.
