Works well for trimming photos. I would have liked it to be made of a little heavier material, or be weighted; it has a tendency to shift too easily.

I really didn't know what to expect, but this is very light, and cheap feeling. It's hard to get a smooth cut from my paper, though I have figured it out a little since getting it a couple weeks ago. If you only need it for paper scraps and aren't looking for a perfect cut then I suppose this would be okay. but I would not recommend it for cutting photos.

I just needed something to trim small photos with. I had a hard time finding a mini' paper trimmer like you see at schools or offices. For this size and price I have no complaints, and the trimmer works well for photos and paper.
