I am not a professional jeweler. I really don't even make my own jewelry. I do, however, frequently change my charms and pendants on my necklaces, which makes it possible that I may have to change the finding/jump ring from the one it originally came with. I looked at a lot of the kits for sale on here. A lot of them had more tools, but I knew I wouldn't be doing anything beyond simple repairs. This kit fit the bill perfectly. It is exactly what I needed. Has every tool I would need, yet is fairly small and doesn't take up much room. Again, I'm no professional jeweler, but the tools seem extremely sturdy and well made. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I should have realized when I paid as little as I did that this product would not be stellar. It does indeed come with needles, magnifying glass, a 3 in 1 tool, and more, however they are very cheaply made. I've only had the item a week and my magnifier has already broken. The needles are doing good so far but since they are so small how could those really be messed up in production? The 3 in 1 tool is not very productive and doesn't even close right (now I'm using my husband's tools). All in all, a very cheap set but the case is good for storing beads for the time being I guess.

I needed a kit to make basic jewelry repairs like opened jump rings, unglued earring backs, etc. Easy stuff.

This kit fits the bill perfectly. I love the instructions that come with the kit so I know how to best use the tools in it. I'd buy it again. It's worth the small investment to be able to keep wearing my favorite jewelry without spending more than some of the costume jewelry is worth to repair it.
