I bought these as an "extra" little gift for my boys and my nephews for Christmas. These are well made and alot nicer than I thought, I was very impressed.

My son had to make a covered wagon for a school assignment. He had a week. They gave us instructions on how to do it with a milk carton, but I decided to get this kit instead. It was delivered quickly to our house, a key requirement. At first it seemed it would be tough to glue together, but the wood glue makes the final product very strong. In the end the kids accused him of buying this model already made, so the final product is very nice. (you do have to get paint and sandpaper though)

The frame is easy to build, however we had to nail the wheels firmly or they would fall off, so the wheels don't turn. The wagon "tongue" (extending out in front), split when nailing it to the front axle. We glued it and it's fine. The "toolbox top" was a broken fragment of wood. It was unusable, which is fine. The "toolbox" is still useable. The barrel is supposed to be glued to the opposite side of the wagon from the tool box. It's a cylinder for heavens sake! (It wouldn't stay glued if we tried). The covered wagon is actually a piece of folded white cardboard. No amount of reshaping would help it stay rounded, it wants to fold on the already made crease. We glued segments of a straw from a boxed drink into the wagon to make slots to hold wire arches. Then we sewed a fabric cover. My daughter didn't want to paint it.

For under $4 I thought this was a great product. If you are looking for some kind of perfectly fitted, hobbyist, to-scale model, obviously this isn't it. But you probably already figured that out from the price. It is a decent replica and the pieces are pretty sturdy. My kids were very excited.
