Being a fan of Peter Shepherd's work as a psychologist and his openly hopeful site about personal transition and transformation ([...] - with his ezine, "Cultivate Life"), I found myself enthralled by the aid provided in this text. To shift one's perspective about just who this wonderful presence known as "you" might be, you couldn't find a better guide book. As mortals, we often work within paradigms of personal description precipitating beliefs on our worth and value.
Shepherd forever reminds us to make a choice to be "true to our inner callings." Such an uplifting book - whether one chooses change or simply a validation on the spirit of each of us. With upsets in economy, world visions, and often "energies afoot," his map for growth shows us each that our creations of this life-experience can be the joyful exploration that we as individuals may undertake at any moment, knowingly. Happiness needn't be elusive and we each can be self-directed. Attitude, communication, and personal development techniques forge a path of focus on our innate wishes. Shepherd's works are always linked to a spiritual connection of growth because we each are offshoots of this amazing life force of continual creativity. |
