This review is from: A Daring Wager (Paperback)
what a great book! wonderful chemistry between Ellie and Ravenworth. the heroine is a very unique and entertaining character who loves to make wagers- and that's how she gets into a mess. the book isn't all about her trying to win this wager so she doesn't have to marry her cousin, but is centered around the very entertaining scenes between her and Ravenworth, where most of the time they fight. Both character's demeanors change for the better becuase of their relationship though. my only complaints are i don't think enough was made of the fact that Ravenworth used to be an army captain that Ellie obsesses over (she didn't know it was him because he hid the truth from her for a while, but don't worry i'm not really giving much away as it's pretty obvious that it's him). After she finds out it's not really mentioned again. I would think that it's worth mentioning again in the book because she used to imagine herself with this captain before she even know who he was, and she ends up involved with him. Also I don't think the cousin got quite what he deserved in the end...but anyway this is a great romance, I definitely recommend it, and the author!
