Amazon.com Product Description

James Cameron’s Dark Angel is a third-person action-adventure game, with emphasis on stealth and fighting, based on the hit TV series of the same name. Set against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic Seattle, the game lets players take on the role of Max, a genetically enhanced super-soldier, on a quest to reclaim her past by finding her sister and fellow genetically altered escapees. As a child Max escapes from Manticore, her military creators, along with a handful of her siblings and makes a life for herself on the edgy streets of 21st-century Seattle. Haunted by dark memories of her victimization at the hands of Manticore personnel, Max is on a quest to reclaim her past and locate her missing siblings. Max believes that by finding her family she can overcome the battle that rages inside her, as the soldier she has always been is confronted by the woman she wishes to become. You will play through multiple missions and objectives on each level, which will include side stories of lost siblings, destroying Manticore, and helping Logan Cale overturn corrupt government movements.

3.0 out of 5 stars Save system is very poor, February 2, 2003
This review is from: Dark Angel (Video Game)
The game is fairly well done and the moves are cool. But the saving system is poor. Several levels are extremely easy to complete to get to a save (one level between saves is killing 3 guards and that is it). And then the next level will be 20+ mins of playing, killing 25+ guards.

Not enough time or thought went into where to put the saves in order to keep the frustration levels in line. No one likes having to redo large portions of a game because the saves are not well thought out.

Dark Angel developers should take some time and learn from Splinter Cell developers on how to do saves.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST GAME EVER!!!, August 18, 2004
By
max (Cambridge, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dark Angel (Video Game)
i love the dark angel game!!it has amazing action, tons of moves and the characters actually look and have the voices of the ones on the tv show (max and logan). i admit at the beginning it was a little hard to find out what to do but every game has at least one problem right? and if u get past this one the game rocks. this is the kind of game that u can play over and over again because the fighting is so amazing, and you are always unlocking new moves. i was as devistated as any hard core DA fan when the show got cancelled, and was over joyed when i heard there was a video game. if you think this game sucks its probably becaus you have hardy taken the 5 minutes at the beginning to figure out how to play. this is what this game is about a cat-burglar and you have to have a brain in your head to be one, its not all easy you sneak by guards, take a out transgenics, save your "siblings", and help logan on his crusades, but even through all of this a girls gotta look good right?
two words --- BUY IT
