Review
"Fantastically fulfilling. A dark walk deep into the romantic vampire lore to explore the conscience of an educated man who must face his true being." --
Mary Pinto, Romance Communications"If vampires, tortured heroes, and more action, intrigue, and suspense than a faint heart can safely handle define your dream book, then DARK CHANGELING is for you." 4 Blood Red Hearts! --
The Word Museum"More a paranormal than a romance, Ms. Carter has created one of the best vampire stories I've ever read." --
reviewed by Brenda Ramsbacher, Just Views"Set in the present day, beautifully written, DARK CHANGELING has a very sympathetic hero, one that is tormented by his horrible hunger and determined to find out just who and what he is. Roger also has to deal with the killer, the outcast vampire that is taking human life and making sure Roger is aware of exactly what is going on. This book is a winner, on every level, but don't read it at night unless every light in the house is turned on and all the doors and windows are locked. Ms. Carter has written a book that is full of chills, shivers, and blood. Enjoy. I did." Highly Recommended! --
Under the Covers Book Reviews"Steeped in research with detailed descriptions of vampire behavior, Carter does an excellent job of grabbing the reader's attention and not letting go." 4 Stars! --
Affaire de Coeur, October 1999"Think Silence of the Lambs meets Dracula, with a little bit of The Once and Future King thrown into the mix. One of the delights of this book is the author's obvious knowledge of vampire lore and literature. Even if you're not a fan of vampire stories, give this one a try. And if you are a vampire fan, buy this book as soon as the sun goes down!" --
