5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend for journalers! January 4, 2012

My review:
Dark Chocolate for the Journaler's Soul by Mari McCarthy was a book filled with stories from different people who have made journaling to their lifestyle. Journalers shared their experiences and thoughts about their journey, how did they start journaling, how do they do that, why do they keep journals.
I really liked that the choice of the stories was made through a very different types of journalers - they journals introduced had wide range of target groups, so it was interesting to read. If the stories would have been from the same types of journals, it would not have made any sense.
I have been journaling for years myself and still I found some useful tips what else could I do with my journals: drawing, sketching, adding music - just to name few things which I haven't tried out while journaling.
Content of Dark Chocolate for the Journaler's Soul lives up to the title! If you are journaling it is definitely a useful book to read. I would also recommend it to bloggers, because blogging and journaling are very similar to each other. Mari McCarthy has created an excellent, sweet and useful tool for people who are journaling or planning to start journaling. It inspired me and I liked it!
5 stars.
