I like this series because it is easy to read, but keeps you interested at the same time. I enjoyed seeing how the characters have developed throughout the series.

Kendall O'Dell strikes again in this wonderful third book in Sylvia Nobel's series. Kendall's attempts to help a friend also land her in hot water with her favorite cowboy and land her smack dab in the middle of the border crossing war.
"Dark Moon Crossing" was a quick and easy read but so compelling that I could hardly put it down. As always, Nobel incorporates bits and pieces of Arizona's history, legends, and quirky nature in her writing which brings even greater depth and pleasure when reading her stories.

I have read the first two books already and really enjoyed how this one covered the issues of our border with the heart breaking frustration from both sides. She takes you into Kendall's world and makes you feel as though you are right there with her. I can't wait to read the fourth, fifth and more.

This is a new author for me and she certainly can keep you on the edge of your seat.
I love a really good mystery and she does not disappoint. This fast paced story, set in southern Arizona, keeps things moving along at a fast clip. Just when you think you have figured out the who, what and why, are responsible for the mess Kendall O'Dell finds herself in, the path takes another turn and you are left scratching your head in confusion for about as long as it takes you to finish that chapter. Then you are off and running again, trying to figure it all out. You don't really find out until the very end. What an absolutely wonderful book! I LOVE IT!

This book borders on some sensitive issues about border crossing, however, the writer does a very good job of just telling the story without leaning one was or the other. Creepy ending.

Just finished "Dark Moon Crossing", my third novel by Sylvia Nobel in the Kendall O'Dell Mystery series. It is difficult to say which one of these three novels I have liked the best, but they seem to just get better and better. I did not want to put the books down, they really keep you on the edge of your seat! Makes me think of Mary Higgins Clark style of writing, but much more suspenseful! Love these books!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the Kendall O'Dell series. I bought my first one at the Prescott Art Festival and have them all now. They keep my interest from beginning to end and it is the only book I have read all in one day. Hopefully she will have a new one out soon.

Mrs. Nobel has done it again!! I could NOT put this book down. It was the perfect comination, just enough romance and compasstion to touch your heart and spooky enough to make you gasp. My kudos to Mrs. Nobel!! I am looking forward to the next book.

I have bought all 3 of this author's books and find I am never disappointed. This book "Dark Moon Crossing" in particular is a "can't put it down" novel. I am an avid reader of mystery novels and I didn't foresee what was coming in the end! Another good job Sylvia Nobel!!

I almost didnt finish this book. the 3star rating is of how 'slow' the beginning of the book was. I kept reading based on the fact of how good the first two books of the series were. And as always, the ending was a turn of events kind of thing and threw me for another surprise! Not the best book, but still a good one!
