The Ducky Boys just rock. Whether you're into streetpunk or just good old fashioned rock and roll, I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy this album. I like almost all of the songs, I can't really name a favorite...the music is always great, and the lyrics are insightful and powerful, helping you get through an often dark, messed up world. Check out this album, and anything else by the Ducky Boys you can get your hands on! Also look for Mark Lind's (bassist/singer) new band, Sinners And Saints, they're good stuff.

Don't hold it against the Ducky Boys because some kid doesn't know how to use his computer. This is an awesome blend of Street Punk and Oi. If you love Patriot, Dropkick Murphys, or Oxymoron you'll love the Ducky Boys-Dark Days.

Straight Punk Ducky Style!,

I have liked the Ducky Boys for a long time but I did not own this CD until recently because of the lack of availablity, which I now realized that it is my fault! After hearing "Three Chords the The Truth" and Dirty Water EP, I finally decided to pick this up (one of the reasons I hesitated to get this CD is that I did not like "No Gettin' Out" that much). "Dark Days" is completely different from "Three Chords" in many ways (both albums are super!). I consider these two albums conceptually and musically in distinct (e.g. I also apply same concept when listening GNR's APD and Use Illusions-both are great albums although sounding dissimilar).
While "Three Chords" is a heartfelt Rock N'Roll album, "Dark Days" fills with catchy, up-rising, punk anthems. "Dark Days" are very identical to such bands as Hudson Falcons, Anti-Heros, the GC5, early Dropkick Murphys, King Size Braces, etc. My favorite tracks from this album are "These are the days", "Do you wrong", "We're find a way", "A better life", and "The Ballad of the forgotton." There is no fillers here. I like how the singer shouts in the begining of the songs when guitar kicks off. I'm totally glad that I finally grabbed this CD. It's good music to listen to in the morning too!

i ordered this CD almost a year ago and am still yet to recieve it. first i got an email saying it's special order so i won't get it for a month or so. a little while later the delivery estimate jumped to another month later without any email to warn me. a little while later the order was deleted and now i have no record of ever even ordering it in my account. it was cancelled without telling me and i never got a refund. don't buy this, you probably won't get it.
