Nonetheless he is often cited as an influence on the work of many other notable guitarists including Ozzy Osbourne’s axeman Randy Rhoads, and his fortunes are interweaved with the success of other well-considered artists.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth it, June 29, 2001
This review is from: Dark Days in Paradise (Audio CD)
Many die hard Gary fans slam this album, and I didn't really like it much initially. But after a few playings, the retro sound of the music grew on me. There really is nothing to compare this record to as far as Gary's past offerings. Definetly a bit of an early 70s feel to it. The down side is the guitar playing is very understated, and, let's face it, that is why we listen to Gary.
