Micaela captures your heart and soul from the very beginning and there is no turning back. Dark Dealings exceeds expectations by this debut writer. Nice balance of suspense, tension and Irish folklore. Can't wait for the next book!

Micaela O'Brien is an investment banker with her feet firmly planted in the material world. Never mind her visions; never mind her inexplicable survival after a plane crash killed her parents, never mind her Grandmother's Celtic lore; Michaela's all about business.

Till she meets Liam, a colleague who knows far too much about her. Michaela is working on the biggest deal of her life with Liam when a bizarre and bloody murder stops her in her tracks. Then there's no going back without facing the truth of her heritage.

This is a spirited, well-written urban fantasy from a new writer. Highly recommended.

I have never been one for vampire books, but this holds an historical edge that grabbed me from the very start! I love the character development and I want to read it again, which says HUGE things about the story!! Love it!
